AutoFurnish Limited Marks Its Entry into E-Mobility with an Acquisition of a 55% Stake in Chhariot EMob Private Limited

AutoFurnish Limited, a BSE-listed company operating in the automotive
accessories sector, has announced its entry into the electric mobility
sector by acquiring a 55% stake in Chhariot EMob Private Limited.
This acquisition marks a strategic expansion of the company's business
portfolio beyond automotive accessories.
As part of this strategic initiative, the company has also approved
an inter-corporate loan of up to ₹2.50 crore to Chhariot EMob Private
Limited, subject to applicable terms and approvals. The proposed
funding is intended to support Chhariot EMob's expansion and growth
initiatives. The existing founders and promoters will retain the
remaining 45% equity stake.
Broadening the Company's Business Portfolio
Since 2012, AutoFurnish has steadily expanded its footprint in the
automotive accessories industry. The company serves car and two-wheeler
customers across India through online and offline channels, offering
products focused on vehicle styling, protection, comfort and utility.
Its portfolio includes car floor mats, seat covers, body covers,
cushions and other automotive accessories.
This strategic move expands the company's presence into the evolving
electric vehicle (EV) sector, providing exposure to electric two-wheelers
and related business activities, including EV components, batteries,
trading, distribution, assembly and manufacturing.
The acquisition adds a new business segment to AutoFurnish's existing
portfolio. While continuing to develop its automotive accessories
business, the company intends to establish a presence in the growing
electric mobility sector through this strategic investment.
